Named after the silent, yet powerful pachyderm, Aanai was started in 2018 by its Principal Architect and Creative Director, Gayathri Padmam H. Aanai was initially conceptualised as an indigenous furniture studio with a vision of providing personalised designs and furniture solutions to those with a taste for the extraordinary.

 

Today, Aanai has grown to a multidisciplinary design studio in the residential space focussing on three key aspects -

Architecture, Interior Design and Furniture.

As a practice, Aanai aims at working towards sustainable design, keeping in mind the modern context and global perspectives of our clients. Aanai's core design philosophy revolves around the thought that design along with being aesthetic, should also be functional; while achieving sustainability through conscious and minimalistic design expressions.
